TSAOHN Philanthropic Project Award

The TSAOHN Philanthropic Award is presented at either the Biennial Fall Conference or, on the year without a conference, it is presented in the fall through the award recipient’s chapter.

Purpose

The TSAOHN Philanthropic Project Award promotes Occupational Health Nurses in the Texas Community. This supports the TSAOHN mission by increasing the presence of OHNs in the Texas community, promoting interaction with the business, professional and worker community. TSAOHN nurses will demonstrate their role as trusted leaders in their community. In addition, TSAOHN grants support the much needed TSAOHN nursing family of occupational health, public health and environmental programs that reach out to communities across the state, allowing all of us to impact Texans in a way that each of us acting on our own could not achieve. This award is in the amount of $300 annually to sponsor a Texas philanthropic/benevolence chapter project.
