As a Occupational Nurse you will be responsible for the Company's medical surveillance and medical monitoring programs. The candidate will also support the Company's Wellness Program for Nexeo Solution's employees, administer Medical Leave policies, including FMLA, Disability, and manage all work related injuries. Also, the candidate will assist in policy development, updates or other special projects where appropriate.

• Supervise and maintain medical monitoring program
• Partner with appropriate stakeholders to manage occupational illness and injury cases
• Worker's Compensation Case Management
• Provides guidance for OSHA Recordkeeping decisions
• Coordinates "Return to Work" &/or "Fit for Duty" programs
• Supports injury investigations as needed
• Serves as the communication liason with outside medical providers
• Assist outside vendor with Company's wellness program
• Maintain Spirometry, Audiometric and AAOHN Certification
• Maintains current CPR/FA/AED/BBP certification
• Assist outside vendors with the management of Short Term Disability
• Has familiarity with the accident and health hazards that are common to the Company
• Plans and works within an approved budget maintaining appropriate equipment and adequate supplies
• Disseminates health education information and is available to counsel employees on personal or family health problems
• Administers the FMLA policy for employees
• Maintains medical records; ensures confidentiality

This position will be located in The Woodlands, TX

• Completion of diploma or degree program in nursing
• Current license as a registered nurse
• CAHOC Certification in Hearing Conservation required
• COHN or COHN-S required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Care or Ambulatory Care facility
• Familiar with DOT drug testing requirements, ADA and Blood Borne Pathogen
  Trained in First Aid, CPR and AED
• Current training in administration of spirometry testing
• Current CAHOC Certification in Hearing Conservation required
• Ability to perform patient assessment, knowledge of Microsoft computing
• Basic computer skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment
